Jenny Taylor | Cancer Kickers

On Saturday, March 21, 2020, the second annual Pink Heavenly event will celebrate fundraising to support Barton's Cancer Support Services and the lives of those in our communities touched by those living with cancer.

This event is special to me as so many loved ones have been diagnosed with cancer.  Some have sadly passed on now, but others are now living with their cancer.  These services make the treatments more bearable and more effective!  We are so luck to have these available here, in Tahoe, on our doorstep.

I have lost many in my family and I myself am high risk for cancer.  So far, I've been lucky.  But I'm so proud to be a part of this fundraising effort to be sure these services are available to those closest to us, and if I ever need access to this support, it will be there.

Our Tahoe community has so many living with cancer.  Perhaps it's just bad luck, or bad genetics.  But to be a part of something which can help make the journey easier and more effective:  It's powerful stuff!  It takes a village, and we are all a part of that village.

Please join me in supporting this great cause! To make a donation on my behalf and help me reach my fundraising goal, click on the "Donate Now" button to the right.

If you would like to join me in my efforts to ski/ride on March 21st then please register to participate. Those of you who don't ski can volunteer or enjoy the festivities at Pink Heavenly Headquarters at the California Base Lodge. This event is so much fun, you don't want to miss it!

Thanks for your support!

Pink Heavenly proceeds benefit community members in South Lake Tahoe living with all forms of cancer through improvements to patient care and by funding Barton Health's cancer support services including exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and more. These unique services can dramatically impact a patient’s quality of life, but are not typically covered by insurance.
